Business Info
What areas do you serve?
Everywhere
How long have you been in business?
4 years
Why did you decide to start your own business?
I don't like people telling me what to do and I like being able to have flexibility in my job. I also like being able to do something that I am passionate about on my own terms.
What challenges have you had to overcome?
Oh my goodness, well there was this little hiccup called COVID, which basically brought my business to it's knees for almost two years. Plus, all the other things small business owners face; knowing, or learning, how to do everything related to your business that doesn't actually have to do with what you sell. And most importantly, maintaining a work life balance.
What advice could you offer to someone starting a business like yours?
It's a lot of hard work, which I am sure any small business owner would say. I think a lot of people get into travel because they think it's going to be all travel and glitz, when in actuality it's a lot of hard work and almost no money to start.
What advice would you offer to other business owners in a similar situation?
Believe in yourself. You're going to see a lot of different people in the same industry doing a lot of things, do what's best for you and don't compare yourself to others.
